ZOYALINK DMCA & Copyright Policy
ZOYALINK respects intellectual property rights and requires all users to respect the copyrights of others. This page describes the official procedure for reporting alleged copyright infringement and submitting a counter-notice.
Effective: October 12, 20261. Introduction & Basis of Policy
ZOYALINK is a platform for sharing stories, images, and videos, with content uploaded by users. Each user is fully responsible for the content they upload and must ensure it does not infringe the copyright of others, as set out in our Content Policy and Terms of Service.
ZOYALINK handles copyright infringement reports with reference to Indonesia's Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright and the principles of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This page is informational and does not constitute legal advice. If you are unsure about your rights, we recommend consulting legal counsel.
2. How to Submit a Notice
A copyright owner, or a person validly authorized to act on the owner's behalf, who believes their work is being used on ZOYALINK without authorization may submit an infringement notice by email:
- Email address: [email protected]
- Subject line: DMCA Report
Please include all information required in the following section so that your report can be reviewed promptly.
3. Notice Requirements
A valid infringement notice must contain all of the following:
Required Information
- Signature: a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative.
- Identification of the work: a description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, with proof of ownership or authority where available.
- Content location: the specific URL on ZOYALINK of the story, image, or video alleged to be infringing.
- Contact information: the complainant's full name, address, active phone number, and email address.
- Good faith statement: a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement: a statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf, under penalty of perjury.
Incomplete or unverifiable notices may not be acted upon until the required information is provided.
4. How ZOYALINK Handles Notices
Upon receiving a notice that meets the requirements, ZOYALINK will review it and may take the following actions:
- remove or restrict access to the reported content;
- notify the user who uploaded the content about the report and the action taken;
- reduce earnings generated by that content as provided in the Content Policy.
By submitting a notice, the complainant understands that the notice and contact details may be forwarded to the affected user so that they can respond. ZOYALINK aims to handle reports as quickly as possible but does not guarantee a specific resolution time.
5. Counter-Notice
If a user believes their content was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, including because they hold valid permission or rights, they may submit a counter-notice against a removal resulting from a copyright report by email:
- Email address: [email protected]
- Subject line: DMCA Counter-Notice
A counter-notice must contain:
- the user's physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the removed content and its location (URL) before removal;
- a statement that the user has a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification, under penalty of perjury;
- the user's full name, address, phone number, and email address.
ZOYALINK may forward the counter-notice to the original complainant. The content may be restored if the complainant does not show that legal action has been pursued within a reasonable period. This counter-notice mechanism applies specifically to removals resulting from copyright reports and is separate from the appeal mechanism for account suspensions described in the Content Policy.
6. Repeat Infringers
Under the Terms of Service, each individual may manage up to 10 accounts. Users who repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others may face the following sanctions:
- temporary suspension or permanent termination of the account concerned and all associated accounts;
- forfeiture of balances derived from the infringing content or, in serious cases, balances in the Creator Program.
7. False Claims & Abuse
Submitting a notice or counter-notice known to be false, misleading, or made in bad faith, including with the aim of harming other users or removing lawful content, may result in restriction of access to reporting features, account sanctions, and legal liability under applicable law.
8. Copyright Contact
